Chris's passion for photography began at the age of 7. What initially started with ordinary negative films in the 1980s was later pursued by slide films and now digital. It has never been the most bizarre or uncommon that fascinated Chris the most, but the simple and ordinary, the everyday’s and the normal aspects of life which you can see and experience everywhere when you only truly open your eyes. Asia in particular, with its rich blend of landscapes, cultures and people, is Christian's major inspiration and has provided an immense pool of motives and moments to be captured.
